Aline EstaES2A

Session Requirement: none

Target Audience: Cycle 2 / Middle and Secondary

This workshop aims to deepen your understanding of three-dimensional, phenomenon/problem-driven teaching and learning. You will explore the Anchored Inquiry Learning (AIL) instructional model to engage students in deeper and more meaningful learning. The workshop will also focus on enhancing your ability to apply equitable teaching practices in your classroom, ensuring all students have the opportunity to construct a coherent content storyline. By fostering student resilience and independence, you will help students develop the skills to persevere through challenges and take ownership of their learning. You will engage in hands-on experiences of AIL lessons, allowing you to better understand how literacy strategies, support for emerging multilingual learners (EML), and sensemaking techniques are integrated into the curriculum to promote student learning, critical thinking, and growth.
